When Does Ability Damage Stack?

There are not many Wizard spells that do ability damage, and off the top of my head, there are no good ones (the only one that comes to mind is chill touch, which is an awful spell for a non melee wizard).

However, fear not, for a debuffing Wizard has lots of other options. Remember, debuffing doesn't have to be ability or level damage. Any spell that succeeds in making your enemy weaker is a debuff.

If you want to make a debuffing wizard, check out color spray at level 1, when you get second level spells, consider either Blindness/deafness or Glitterdust (but not both - they are redundant), when you get level 3 spells, Slow is a great mass debuff, though I have a soft spot for Ray of exhaustion (for single opponents), as it has a partial effect on those who save. When level 4 spells become available, then Enervation is a nasty debuff with no save, though against mass enemies, look at confusion or fear.

Cloudkill does Constitution damage in an area each round, even if they make the save. Stick some enemies in a pit (the Create Pit line of spells from APG) and put a Cloudkill at the bottom of it. Sit back and watch your enemies die in your overly elaborate death trap. If they try to climb out, grease the section of the wall they're on.

[sblock]The fact that every spell I listed is conjuration is kinda disturbing. That school is SO good![/sblock]

The problem with Cloudkill is it moves every round, Alchemists can create a non-moving cloudkill effect with the right bomb enhancements, not sure if any other class can though.

From the PRD:

Because the vapors are heavier than air, they sink to the lowest level of the land, even pouring down den or sinkhole openings. It cannot penetrate liquids, nor can it be cast underwater.

so, as Streamofthesky noted, cloudkill and create pit are pretty nasty together.
Greasing the sides is just plain mean and should be grounds for alignment change. ;)
