Well, what did you think of both the season premiere of Smallville and Haunted? I taped Haunted and watched Smallville - ended up watching H afterwards. (Didn't plan to, but got sucked in.)

I don't intend to give any specifics, but general discussion can sometimes ruin it for people.
Like Smallville a lot, especially Lex, but they seem to be running into the same traps that almost all superhero based shows have. How many times have we seen people discover the hero's secret identity only to get amnesia/killed/change of heart? I'll keep watching for quite a long time - the quality is well above average - I guess I'm just hoping for something more than kryptonite-irradiated-villian/newly-discovered-power of the week plots this year.
Maybe I'm just whiney.
Or maybe I was just blown away by Haunted. Holy cow! I know, I know - nothing terribly original in this, either. But dang! What a great first show! Production was tremendous, acting above average and the mood... I jumped 3 times. People have mentioned 6th Sense, but I'm thinking more Stir of Echoes with a detective.
Anyway, my two bits. Anybody else see 'em?
