When does Waterdeep ship?

The front page here says july for Heroes of Battle, too. But WotC's website disagrees, Waterdeep is June.I posted in the Meta forum about that, but it seems to have been ignored.

The tides are a small part of it. Of greater importance are what is being shipped, and where it is being shipped to. Shipments of high profitability tend to ship before shipments of low profitability. Then you have the matter of how quickly a shipment can be put together. It may take longer to put together a high profit shipment than it does a low profit shipment, and so the latter will be shipped before the former.

Further complicating things is the matter of what is available in the way of transportation. A grain ship won't carry much in the way of gems and wine, while a fast cutter is not often used for bulk shipments.

Then you have the question of legality and tariffs. If you're shipping something you don't want the authorities to know about securing shipment becomes that much harder.

As far as the shipping date for the Waterdeep sourcebook is concerned; twould appear it'll be appearing in the stores around the end of June, the start of July.

I've noticed that WotC forums AREN'T the most "fan oriented" places to hang out at. IMHO, you understand.

I second that opinion, minus the "H". In fact, they're hardly worth visiting. Without Rich Bakers thread about FR material, it would be practically useless.

June 10 is the official street date for City of Splendors, also for DMGII and d20 Apocalypse. This info according the the Weekly WotC Update Email 5/25/05.
Weapons of Legacy: Magic Series; Eberron DM Screen; and Five Nations (Eberron module) all have a street date of July 8, while Angelfire has a street date of July 22.

Exciting books from Wizards are like the No.37 bus -- you wait ages and then three come along at once!

I'm looking forward to DMG II, Waterdeep and Five Nations.

Cheers
