I ordered physical books from Amazon precisely once. I will never do it again. Any book whose distribution is even slightly in doubt should never be ordered online.

Is there a game store near where you live? Just go there and buy - less stress that way, and instant gratification.

I understand your rage. I am also waiting for mine. Serpent Kingdoms was shipped one month after it had been available in gaming stores. But hey, it's maybe the "price to pay" for a 30% discount...

What frustates me is that I pre-ordered my copy many months ago. The predicted shipping date is 9/2 - 9/4. I figure if you pre-order a book you should get it *before* it hits the store shelves...

I'd settle for a day or two after it hit store shelves. I preordered too.

I preordered my 3.5 Boxed Set from Amazon. This was because I had gotten a free $50 gift certificate, which, when combined with the preorder discount, brought the set down to less than 12 bucks.
Not only did they not send it until it had been in stores for months, but they lowered the price right before they sent it, but didn't give me the discount!!! I ordered MONTHS ahead of time so that I could get a lower price, not so that I could watch Johnny-come-lately get a better price than me.

I wrote them about it and they adjusted the price; I ended up paying less than 3 dollars for the 3.5 boxed set after the various discounts, but I almost would have paid full price to avoid the hand-wringing and teeth gnashing that the wait cost me. Most of the anxiety was over the date on their site having no real world relation to the date that they finally shipped on, nor the date that everyone else could buy the set on store shelves.

My copy of d20 Future shipped an hour or two ago. When i ordered it three weeks ago i also ordered Races of Stone, World of Darkness, and a CD but, strangely enough, only d20 Future shipped, even though Amazon now lists all of the other items as in stock. :\

I received my copy of D20 Future today. What the hell is up with this garbage?

I didn't like it when they put these survey cards all the way in the back of the book, but now they've got this one stuck in the middle of the &#@% Mutations chapter! Thanks WoTC.
Does anyone else's book have the survey card stuck there, or am I just the lucky one?
