When Is It Time To Quit?

Well, everyone has posted some very good points so far. Very useful advice and suggestions.

This could just be me going through a cynical period when thinking about my gaming group.

I guess I will find out this Sunday afternoon and see how things go.

I don't think you can ever quit playing because you'll always want to play. When I don't play RPGs, I start thinking about playing them in my head.

Better in your head than in a steam tunnel...

But I know what you mean. I am in several groups, and still they manage it to rob me of RPG for weeks (OK, most groups are the same people in different campaigns, but there are two different gaming circles with slight differences of players in the particular games). When this happens, I get giddy like a carp on thursdays.

Once it stops being fun, it stops being a game (IMO). I've been in several situations where role-playing felt like a chore, and that's no way to spend your Saturdays. There's already good advice here, so not much I can add. I'd say try to get the issues out in the open instead of keeping them in the dark. Once they're out there, you guys can sort them out in your own way.

Cheers!
