When to Flurry/When not to Flurry

Hyp, why do you not like 3E flurry? Mind telling us?

Because I found that whenever I flurried, I missed by one or two, despite what statistics might predict

We're using slightly different acronyms for the same thing. Mine was All Power Attack All The Time.

Why stop at 3 or 4? I could see 1, 2, 6, 9, or 11 as good options but 3 or 4?

The first level of monk includes a hit to BaB. But after that, it's 1 for 1 up to level 4 - characters can minimize attack bonus lost by avoiding level 5. Plus it's an even level for the increase in saves. If you're using monk to gain saves and Evasion for something else, level 4 is a good stopping point.
