When you play in person, where do you play? (Poll)

We play at a players house and it works well. I travel about 3 hours each way to get to the game so it wouldn’t work for folks to come to me. In fact come to think of it, I’ve ran games at 4 different players houses and never at my own.

My advice would be to find a player with a big house/flat who doesn’t have kids. They’re out there.

We play at the home of one the players (he is often Gm as well).. He is the most in the centre for me maybe 50 minutes by car. most of the other get there by trams.

Ha ha yeah I travel from Birmingham to Kent and back. I’m that dedicated and @GuyBoy is that that good a DM.

Though we do play face to face monthly for a two day weekend. I don’t think I could do it for a 3 hour session!

I thought you were wowed by the fact that I managed to persuade 4 players to host. Lol

Currently my one in-person game is played downstairs in my basement game room (I am actually in the middle of drawing up plans to redo the whole thing to make it both a better crafting space and gaming space.

I have a toddler but she’s always been a great sleeper and has no problem going to sleep while we are playing after her bedtime. I think since I started running games again about a month after she was born, she has been trained to sleep through it.

Back in the day I hosted in my apartment, but at other times I have commuted via subway or car up to an hour to play at another DM’s place.
