D&D General Where did I get the demiplane Charontlis from?

One of the two peoples being focused on in the Jakandor setting are called the Charonti. They are the descendants of an ancient world-spanning magocratic empire that fell to a plague millennia ago. Maybe it has something to do with them?
This would be my best guess for the inspiration- if for no reason than you just heard the word in a D&D/fantasy context and thought it "sounded cool".

The first time I DMed a game around the age of 8 I think I had heard the word "rhombus" in geometry class once, thought it sounded cool and made that the name of a dragon, totally forgetting it was a shape.
