I thought the 1E bullywugs were way cool.. because they could crossbreed with people (love with a bullywug.. shudder). I did a short series of adventures with this theme, using a sort of 'Shadows over Innsmouth' idea, with people who had the 'taint' in them turning into a super bullywug when they got older....

Bully-wugs (as in school bully)

OR

Buhly-wugs (as in sea gull)
