Basic Game: September Release

It's in our catalogues as releasing in September. Unsure why it's not easily found on Wizards.com, but I'm chatting with the fine web folks to make sure it get posted up there. It wasn't pulled or canceled; it likely just didn't get posted up in the first place.

In the meantime, for those of you eager to find out about the Basic Game.
(By the way, I've an advance copy sitting on my desk right now. It has all of the elements of a great intro product.)

It IS releasing in September.

Thanks for the update. It sounded (sounds) like an important product (and one I want to see, since I try to take a look at all "introductory" products) and when I couldn't find it I wondered if something had gone wrong.

You'll find more information on the new D&D Basic Game in Mat Smith's new previews as well. (It is listed as a september release)

It's *very* interesting to look at the miniature list:

Fewer minis (12 rather than 16) than the previous box, but that goes with the general increase in price of everything. I rather like the monsters chosen, however!

Er, I count 13 miniatures in that list - is the double entry for the Harpy in error?
