Where have I been? :)

I’ve been told by Suzi Yee and Joe Browning from Expeditious Retreat Press that my NDA has ended. :) they passed along this information as OK to share – it hasn’t been officially released yet so don’t share this, but I thought you all would like to know what’s been keeping me so busy the last couple of weeks. ;)

“Monster Geographica--200 monsters from 20 sources for $20
**note none of the monsters are from the SRD. Almost half of the monsters are 3.0 conversions from none other than the Boz-man. :)
We will release a new monster geographica on a three month schedule. The first three are definite, the final three will depend on the sales of the first three books. They will be available as PDF's as well as print. Schedules are, of course, subject to change.
Underground (Aug 2004)
Marsh and Aquatic (Nov 2004)
Forest (Feb 2004)
Mountains and Hill (May 2004)
Plains (including deserts and tundra) (Aug 2005)
City (Nov 2005)”

(forest and mountains should probably be 2005) ;)

Congratulations! That sounds like a dream job!

Let's see, at 100 conversions a book, that's 600 conversions. I can now see why you want to cut back here...there won't be anything left for your books! ;)

i can't get into specifics yet, but the "conversions" are actually all 3.0 to 3.5 revisions - it's nothing that won't take away from the CC, except for my available time to work on it. now, however, i wouldn't mind finding a publishing company (since NG looks about done with the idea) that would do a book of conversions much like the beloved ToH1... :)

it's current. i'm not currently doing any work on above project, but my family and i just moved to a new apartment, and my computer might not be set up at home for a few days. please bear with me.

so i have been plenty busy. what started off as just being busy with the move (my wife went into the hosptial again right before the big move and was out of commission for about two weeks - that was hell) eventually ran into the second part of the project mentioned above. so, i'll probably be back to giving you all the old "silent treatment" for the next week or so... but once i finish up this part, i am done with the whole deal (until we get to the next book that is, whoah!)
