Where is everyone?

I just tried the news site and got a "Session initialisation failed" error. Maybe not everyone has a link directly to the message boards like us l33t d3wdz do. Or maybe everyone else has a life... ;)

I haven't been able to post all day from work. I'm hoping this will be ok. Apparently, I'm not the only one, several people mentioned having trouble over on Nutkinland...

I couldn't post either. I did an experiment (turned off the boards for a few minutes and then back on) and now it seems people (at least more people) are getting in.

Error

I got the same "session failed to initialize" error. I fixed the error by deleting cookies. I then reproduced the error (and the fix).

Here's what leads to the "fail to initialize" error:

1. Go to www.enworld.org.
2. Scroll down and click on the "setting proposals" link in the news post about James Wyatt's proposals. Not his links, but the link to the archives here.
3. Pow.

For whatever reason, it looks like enworld doesn't want to show people its setting proposals. :(

ps: occurs in IE and Netscape.
