Where is your first port of call at GenCon?

It looks like, due to circumstances beyond our control, we may not have as many copies of Arcana Unearthed as we'd like. Thus, while I don't think you have to get it right away, the first morning, waiting until Sunday might not be a good idea either. Maybe we'll be able to keep it all stocked, but I don't want anyone to get burned in case we can't.


I wish things were otherwise, but--much to my chagrin--I'm still not in charge of all reality. I'm working on it, though.

Monte, I know this is asking a lot and I don't want to start something but could you, would you hold two copies for me.

Thank you for the heads up. I figured something like this might be the case - it always seems to be with smaller press first-run products - which is why I plan to be there ASAP that morning.

Three quick questions:
1) Will you be there that morning?
2) Will you have an autograph session set up during the con?
3) Are the mini's a giveaway, or extra purchse? I'm getting it either way, but a friend asked and I didn't get the answer off of the article on your site.

(J/K, I think the anticipation of AU is great for Monte. I'm sure no one will be more disappointed than him if supplies run out. But I'd be a close second.)

I've had a first booth in mind more often than not. I waited two years for a shot at one of the old school stuffed Cthulhus in moss green, and after homing straight in for that booth I could quite literally have gone home -- everything else was just very good gravy.

Last year, it was the Phage Press booth -- I love the Amber quote T-shirts. They'll probably be my first stop this year too, unless something grabs me before I get there (which is reasonably likely ).

Getting my grubby paws on a copy of AU first thing does sound like a very good idea, though...

Probably to the MEG booth. Last year it inexplicably became our "Base of Operations" on the dealer's floor.

Hal assures me that there is some new Giant Monster Rampage crap, so I absolutely must grab that.

Then I'll try and track down someone to hang out with since my local posse is not able to make it this year (but will liklely be at Gen Con So Cal).
