I speak with confidence when I say that I'm one of reveal's "peeps". I leave it to the astute reader to ascertain whether or not that is a "Good Thing".

Work has been hot and cold for me lately but I'm also helping to fill the extra hours here and there doing office work for a friend. And I'm doing a lot of extra "Daddy Duty" this week. Plus I just bought myself a new computer game and that always cuts into the rest of my computer time.

I don't know if I qualify, but I'm around. I'm posting less and skimming more. It seems like I have less free time, but I couldn't put my finger on any specific reason why. Work has kept me as busy as ever, and this week is going to be even worse because of a quarterly report I do for the Finance department, not because I work for them (I don't), but because I'm a nice guy. So that'll mean two or three evenings (or one all-nighter) away from home. Guess I've been in a bit of a funk lately; maybe it's the end of summer or something.

I'd love to try it but don't want to pay for it because I've been burned by MMORPG's before, even the ones that were extremely popular at the time. There was a magazine a couple months ago that had a free trial disc in it, but I missed it.

Nah. I was playing Guild Wars but that's about as much into the MMORPG thing as I've ever gotten. I'm playing Sid Meier's Pirates! (the new one that came out in late 2004). I bought it for cheap on Friday and I'm loving it.

I'm off to plunder the Spanish Main right now!
