Where to buy UN-painted minis

G'day, eh.

Every once in a while I see a thread crop up on the main board about "where can I get minis cheap?" and you hear of Auggies and all the other places that sell D&D minis. What I am wondering are where are the places you can get UNpainted ones cheaply/reasonably?

Sure, I'm a fan of Reaper, and a lot of the the GW LOTR plastic sets are great for squads of grunts in D&D, but are they the only shows in town? Anyone else doing D&D size-compatible ones at a decent price?

Like, i've seen the one where they do Larry Elmore Sculpts and stuff, but thats a little out of my price range. Just looking for good unpainted utility minis in the 1-4 (maybe 5) dollar range. Nothing too fancy.

Anyone?

Does any company also sell unpainted plastic minis?

I've been spoiled by WotC's D&D minis' robustness and really dislike transporting my (painted) metal minis, especially the assembled ones.

Edit: I know the forthcoming Ravenloft boardgame will come with unpainted plastic minis. One of the many reasons, I'm going to get it :)

Keep an eye on their forums for good deals on particularly fine minis and whatnot. If you're looking unpainted grunts, soldiers, factions of fighters (even zombies) and such, keep an eye on various wargaming minis sites like -

Wargames Factory LLC - Hard Plastic 28mm 1/56 Scale Model Figures for Wargaming

I got a great deal on some Viking miniatures a couple of months ago. Get on their mailing list (of both) to make sure you hear about the deals as they come up.
