Where to find lighter-plug-in powered car speakers

For odd reasons, a friend of mine cannot have car speakers installed, but she still wants to listen to music. She has a set of speakers that plug into her iPod, but the volume is barely enough to be audible over engine noise. I was wondering if there are any portable speakers that plug into the lighter plug in a car for power, which might be louder than, y'know, headphones.

She lives in Brazil, and people get their cars broken into all the time for the stupidest, cheapest s**t. Several of her friends have had stereos stolen, and one actually had speakers (as in, the type that are installed in the dashboard) ripped out of her car. I don't know the make and model of her car, but I can ask.
