Whizbang Dustyboots
Gnometown Hero
So, the new cover is posted, and it's a break from the wrap-around covers of the previous two hardback monster books, and no longer is the deluxe art treatment being hyped. Maybe this changed at the same time as the name did, I dunno.
My question, though, is why? I liked the Codex Anathema name, and while the art didn't blow my skirt up, it seemed more fitting and creepy than the current cover which, while nice, is sort of generic.
Anyone know the origin of the change? And does this change signify trouble for the monster book line? I was under the impression that the first two had sold gangbusters, which would have suggested good things for future entries in the line.
Dangit, I want WotC to put out a giants book, a non-cutesy fay book and a genies/elementals book ...
