I ran Keep on the Borderlands... sort of.
See, I was a kid at the time (9 years old when I got the Red Box), and I really hadn't yet figured out what I was doing. So I, uh, didn't know what the map was for. I hadn't yet glommed onto the fact that the room numbers corresponded to the map numbers.
So I just had the guy I was running for (yes, one guy) encounter each room in the order they were printed in the module.
Took me a few months to figure out why it got so monotonous, and made so little sense.
