D&D General Which BG3 companion?

Which, if any, BG3 companion would you to meet as an NPC, or have join your party as an NPC, or run as a DM?

I answered Jaheira who actually has been in my campaign since 99.

Minsc or Karloch is one of the most challenging choices in the game. I love both, and they fulfill a similar niche.

Asterion is always part of my party. I would usually default to Rogue for my Tav if he weren't so fascinating.

Jaheria is like adventuring with Bea Arthur....so that's a plus.

I still want Barcus at my party...

I kinda wish that Tiefling Bard (Alfira) was also a companion.

The others depending on my mood.

Miss Branwen, the tempest cleric from previous editions. She could have been a hoot in the new series if we could figure out how to do it.

Since my campaign isn't in the Forgotten Realms I voted for Lae'zel. While she is from a Realmspace creche, she's not from Toril and has the least ties to the planet so having her show up elsewhere in the multiverse makes sense.

I suppose Karlach and Wyll could show up too if you have a campaign set in hell, depending on which ending you get.

Karlach is top pick as she's just fun to be around, though I certainly couldn't do her justice portraying her as an NPC.

In BG3: Life's too short to not use the mod to have all of them in your party at all times and the other mod to make them extra chatty (using stuff from the various origin campaigns).

In a home game, Astarion, Karlach and Lae'zel are the obvious answers as the most interesting and charismatic NPCs.

Karlach is the only one I can stand.

I placed slightly more weight on whether I could portray these successfully as a table runner, while keeping in mind ones that I would want to meet as a player or be interested in having join my party. :3

Halsin and Wyll have the personalities of wet dishrags, and Astarion is way over the top.

The others are all awesome, each in their own ways.
