D&D General BG3 Impact: Players Embracing the BG3 Companions As PCs

Outside of players wanting to play thinly veiled versions of the companions, has anyone had BG3 affect their game otherwise?

I play in the Realms. One of my players fell in love with BG3. Since then, she has become more and more an expert of the Realms lore as she explores books in her free time. So yes, now thanks to BG3 I have to deal with her correcting me all the time

Oh man I've made a Lae'zel character stand-in for a game. Was very easy to tap into thanks to my ridiculous number of hours playing BG3.

I'm not seeing direct clones. I've been seeing Gith rolled up though. First time ever I've had stats for them since 2E.

Pretty much everyone in one of my groups has played BG3, so I'm putting a lot of callbacks into my next game I'm running (which is a mix of FR and Planescape).

Dekarios the "God of Ambition" is definitely going to be a thing.

I'm running BG3.5. Ebon Triad dead 3 heretics wanting to merge them.

Come to think of it, I've never had a player do a Drizzt clone either. Though I have had one play a Jarlaxle fanboy.

Direct clones not so much. I suspect drow would be more common now except Tieflings exist.
