Which D&D Campaign World did you enjoy most?

Started in the Known World with the Red Box.
Moved on to Greyhawk with 1E.
During 2E ran the gambit, of settings, but fell to Spelljammer, than Forgotten Realms, than Greyhawk.
During 3E, Forgotten Realms had the setting for me, at least until I started with OGL items.
Than was introduced to Valus & Dawnforge.
4E, I've only played one game (about 8 sessions) and only in Forgotten Realms.

Of them all, I would say Forgotten Realms had the most staying power but loses me with the 4E changes.
For my DM'ing, I constantly plan within Greyhawk, Valus, & Dawnforge. I would say they win the prize for the favorites of mine.

1) Oriental Adventures/Kara-Tur
2) Planescape
3) Spelljammer
4) Al-Qadim/Zakhara
5) Dark Sun/Athas
6) Dragonlance/Krynn (original series of modules)
7) Forgotten Realms/Faerun

Roughly in that order.

In response to a number of posters, I just wanted to point out that the correct spelling is "Al-Qadim", and not "Al-Quadim". There is no "u". You can pronounce the "q" like a "k", but it's supposed to represent a phoneme in Arabic that has no equivalent in English. The "q" is commonly used in transliterations, and if you know the sound you may be able to see why it's oddly appropriate.

In order of preference:

1. Greyhawk, in its myriad incarnations across many campaigns
2. My homebrew world Mendenein (a sister-world to Greyhawk)
3. the Forgotten Realms as revealed in Dragon prior to the release of the grey/green boxed set
4. Lankhmar
5. Thieves World
6. Melnibone
7. Middle Earth (in particular Ardor, Arnor, and Mirkwood/Laketown/Lonely Mountain/Dol Guldur)

Of the published settings, I played in Greyhawk & FR the most*, but I had the most fun in Spelljammer and Dark Sun.

* FWIW, most of our homebrews were a mix of Greyhawk & FR with a dash of Spelljammer plus all the other stuff we mixed in.

3. the Forgotten Realms as revealed in Dragon prior to the release of the grey/green boxed set

This got me wondering. I've looked at some of those articles, but I've never taken a systematic look at them all to see what the overall setting would be like if you didn't use any other information beyond the articles themselves. Could you describe how it differs from the grey box?

More loving for Scarred Lands.

Never really played in much of the TSR/WOTC worlds. Borrowed lots from them, just never really played in them much.

Yah, one of two 'K' like sounds in Arabic, the 'Kaff' and the 'Koff'. Man that was maddening to try and learn the difference. That and the two 'S' sounds, the two 'H' sounds, the two 'A' sounds, the two 'D' sounds ...

Well... back in the day, it would be Forgotten Realms (1e) but then it became Birthright.

Now, hands down is Kingdoms of Kalamar (by Kenzer & Co, but still official D&D at the time). The initial source book was a boring read (like an encyclopedia) but the more that came out, the more I loved it. Also, once I did get into it, going back to the campaign book put it as one of the top around for usability. I love that it's more "rare magic" than many others, in that there is powerful magic, but it's not all around you. It's a setting that geophraphically and politically makes sense. I also love that there are more shades of grey than many others when it comes to good an evil. One of the best things about it though for me is the pantheon. I LOVE that all the races follow the same gods but just call and view them differently... there's no separate "elven gods" and "dwarven gods". All in all, a REALLY rich setting that was underrated in my opinion.
