Which d20 publishers offer the best free stuff?

That Ink and Quill supplement is a massive free product (65 pages!) and full of goodies. I can understand why they aren't selling it, it probably wouldn't be very popular. It looks very good though. I wonder if they orignally planed to sell that one and decided it wasn't marketable? [/B][/QUOTE]

You hit the nail pretty much on the head there. When I wrote it, I kind of got the sense that it may not be a product for everyone, especially if they had to pay for it. I was given the option of playtesting it, albeit on my own time and resources, so I opted to go the free download route. Looking back, it probably worked out for the best since it probably got more exposure being a free product, and also an ENNIE nomination that I might not have received had it been a print product costing $12-20.

If you liked that free product, check out the adventure "Where Madness Dwells" from Inner Circle games. It's also free.

Wow, talk about speaking of the Devil :)

I'm happy it's free :), but it's too bad you didn't put out Ink and Quill for sale. It's a good product (looking thru it intially, albeit) and a lot of the stuff there isn't duplicated anywhere else. Might have it been a viable PDF product (for sale)?

I plan to use lots of stuff from Ink and Quill

Question: the Cryptographer PrC--was that in part inspired by the Cryptographer (or whatever it was called) from the Glantri Gazatteer supplement for Basic/Expert D&Dline?

Thanks for the tip on your free adventure. I'll check it out.
