If your interested my Tuesday group is playing under these rules. For the most part. We defaulted back to C&C in a couple of rules situations. Like the scale of movement really bugged me, so I opted to stick with C&C. There are maybe 7 or 8 other rules we have "house ruled", but we are using these classes, and most of the other rules.
 

Yes, but some people aren't. Some of our folks are kind of new, now, and don't recognize that gamers have been arguing about roughly the same sort of things for decades. It just demonstrates that divisions existed, and people were vehement about them.
Well, now that we have tripled the length of the thread in under 24 hours, I again challenge the notion that this has been demonstrated.

There is more vehemence NOW about whether or not there was vehemence then than there was vehemence then.

In honor of this thread being from 2002 I voted for 3rd edition, which was what I was running at the time. Never again though.
