Which is better, M&M or FCtF?

You still need a wealth system, and you still have problems with one-use-only items. Two important element of a FF game IMO.

Things like potions you'd just build and give a cost to dependent on your money structure. Lets see potion heal 5 ranks, cost 300 credits. Bang there you go. Wealth sytem you just take what ever sytem you prefer, turn it into credits and your good.

Major items like your weapon, you should spend points on IMO.

Sure FCTF might have a better feel for this especially with HPs etc, ut it wouldn't be tough to do with M&M.

Part of fantasy is counting all that Gold you got. Yipee, you are rich and forget buying a BMW, you can buy a magic sword instead.

Some like that.

Personaly, after being bored to tears as my party spent HOURS on juggling their manifest, riches and ramming weapons on thier spelljammer, I just pretty much decided to say "You need that?, there it is."

Sure, I have had players try to abuse my generosity, but they find out that greed has it's own price. :)

Probably, but I'm really lazy, and if I buy books, it's to have pre-made material :D

I was just wondering, which one is better?

YES!

Um, well, that is... they are both good for their own applications.

Use 4CTF if you want to add superpowers to an existing d20 system game and don't want to deal with too many tweaks to the core system.

Use M&M if you want a supers game and you either don't mind or WANT (for whatever reason) to get away from the core d20 conventions.
