Which is Cooler, Yakfolk or Abeil?

I like yakfolk. They've got class.

I like the yakfolk, they have some interesting powers that make them memorable and good are for recurring villains IMO as they aren't to powerful basic.

I love insect people as well, but the abeil are stupid insect people (just like the wasp people from the Fantasy Bestiary that eat magic). The bern from Wildwood are a very cool insect race even if they are deaf.

In fact, other than berns, I can't think of any interesting insect based race. The template from Bodies and Souls can make them easily, but no set races.

Dromites, from the EPH, are pretty interesting.

They are only slightly insectoid- no segmented body parts, no exoskeleton, no 6 limbs or 2 or 4 wings, and no communication via odors (pheromones).

The yakfolk, hands down. I'm not really all that familiar with the abiel, but I know the yakfolk from 2e, and they were a very nasty villainous race. An insect people race doesn't really grab my attention, since several have already been described in the various editions of D&D.
