I never bought the 3.5 books for I refuse to pay $100 for what amounts to a page and a half of errata - and half of it things that didn't need errata. That and the final death cry of the ranger.
Pretty much. I was excited about 4e for the same reason I lost interest in 3e. Why should I, having the 3e books, drop $100 on books for a game that would essentially play the same? A few tweaks here and there - no. I don't lay out cash for fixes, I lay it out for new games.
Not into any D&D right now, but I've still got my core 3e books.
