Which of the Core 3 do you own? (3e or 3.5)

Which 3e or 3.5e Core Rulebooks do you own?

I never bought the 3.5 books for I refuse to pay $100 for what amounts to a page and a half of errata - and half of it things that didn't need errata. That and the final death cry of the ranger.

Pretty much. I was excited about 4e for the same reason I lost interest in 3e. Why should I, having the 3e books, drop $100 on books for a game that would essentially play the same? A few tweaks here and there - no. I don't lay out cash for fixes, I lay it out for new games.

Not into any D&D right now, but I've still got my core 3e books.

BTW, voting on this poll forwarded me to the 3e rules forum thread "FLURRY OF BLOWS," and apparently it did the same for others. I have no idea why that happened.

I own the 3.5 set. I gave the original 3.0 books to my friend when I got the 3.5 books.

I have all of 3.0 and 3.5 core.

I didn't buy 3.5 core for some time; other people had them and I used the SRD a lot, but eventually I found them cheap enough that I finally got all 3 to use for in-game reference. It was worth it. Currently my 3.0 set isn't good for much but nostalgia (but it is good for that).

I also got that weird forwarding thing when I voted.

I have a lot of 3.5 stuff I would want to sell for $1 - $5, modules and hardbacks. I wonder if there is still a market for this kind of thing?

That happened to me too. What's up with that?

Any esoteric third-party materials there? Or are they all WotC?

I sold all of my 3.5 books last summer. The PHB and the Complete series books all sold for around 80% of cover price. The DMG and MMs sold for about 1/2 cover price. There was still a pretty strong market for them at the time. The release of Pathfinder may have tempered it somewhat.

Wow, that's great return. I was thinking $5 core books, $3 adventures, and some $1 items that I don't have as much fondness for.

Oh, I've got lots of 3PP stuff, too. Some I won't sell, like my #15 custom signed Ptolus, and my low numbered Rappan Athuk ReLoaded. But I have lots of FFG, AEG, Oathbound, Warlords of the Accordlands Campaign setting stuff, Kalamar, Scarred Lands (but I might keep some of that stuff), Malhavoc stuff like Adventures, Complete Arcana and Arcana Evolved and some supplements, Necromancer (Lots), Green Ronin Materials, WLD and WLC both still in their (unraveling) shrink-wrap, etc...
