The problem (at least for me) is that the H series modules just aren't very good. I remember (and it's been ~20 years so I'm foggy on the exact details) H4 as being particularly rancid.
H4 was the only one I owned (sold it for an obscene amount on eBay shortly after 3E was released).

In fact, if I made this poll about what people owned then I'm sure the votes would be higher. I owned a lot of the classic adventures but never used them (mostly because they were higher level than we ever were). This includes classics like the GDQ series.

There's some stinkers in there, but most of them are solid gold. I played or ran all of them but H1-3, L3, and N4 (most of them multiple times). L3 is the only one I don't have as the Anniversary Set came out at a time when I didn't have the cash to invest in it. Oh well, I heard the first two of Lakofka's were much better and enjoyed both of them immensely.

I've run The Secret of Bone Hill, The Assassin's Knot, Against the Cult of the Reptile God, and the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth for my brothers. I own Treasure Hunt, but haven't run it. I also did the 3rd edition conversions of Bone Hill and Assassin's Knot that used to be here.

Given that the Bloodstone series is somewhat iconic (admittedly, a minor iconic), I'm surprised at the low ratings.
It came out relatively late in 1E, IIRC, and was for a relatively new setting and, as you said, it seems to be more discussed than played (and arguably the finale wasn't terribly playable at all).

I loved the first 2 or 3 Bloodstone Pass modules. I always really dug the Battlesystem that was used.

I never played the last one, H4. I think the idea of running it gave my DM panic attacks.

I always really liked the Assassins Knot. That module influenced my homebrew for a long time after that.

It's too bad they don't let you put 3 boxes next to each module, for "Own", "Played", "DMed". I own well over half this list yet have DMed (I think) only some of Bone Hill. I've played White Plume, Lost Caverns, part of Bone Hill (the same part I DMed, many years later) and Cult of the Reptile God. (edit: and I've played Tomb of Horrors in three different one-offs; beaten it once)

White Plume for the win. I had a great time playing that one. I vaguely remember playing the Secret of Bone Hill and running a single game in Under Illefarn before we dropped it for something else because of changing player composition.

it was made for the Battlesystem not specifically for 1edADnD unless you had a 100th lvl pc. it got crammed into the FR in 2edADnD.
