Droogie, no I didn't like T2- the first movie is a classic, and one of my all time favourites..Judgement Day just felt to me like a remake with big effects. And I detested the whole Arnie as a good terminator idea..bleh.

To each their own. IMO T2 was much better, and not just because of the SFX. T1 was too traditional to the point it was boring. T2 had more balls.

First movie!?!? You mean you didn't like Grace Jones?

You mean Ember the Monk? :) I never could figure out why she didn't get more film roles after that. It obviously left an impression on the collective unconscious of sword-n-sorcery. OK, she's not perfect, but she was perfect for the role.

Oh, and I think I'd like to see what David Lynch would do with a D&D film. It wouldn't make much sense I'm sure, but at least it would be fun to watch, and Lynch would never let an actor get away with that grating hack job Thora Birch gave Solomon.

"Fireball walk with me!"

Bwa-ha-ha! Yeah, Grace is one of the world's great under-utilized resources. Not sure exactly what she's good for, but damn, she must be good for SOMETHING. I mean, look at her.

"I'm not perfect..." Heh heh heh. That made my day.

Ok, so you guys didn't like "Barkeeps"

How about another Kevin Smith movie: "Wererats"
A hilarious look into the lives of a group of wererats living under Waterdeeep, with a shock ending. I don't want to give it away, but it involves "adventures" and lots of CGI.

Tim Burton? I think he could pull it off.

I would have no problem with him being in charge of sets and other designs, but I think he is more about package them substance. I suspect the movie would be rather empty of character.

I'm not a fan of Tim Burton either. IMO, he's great on visual style, but can't tell a properly paced story to save his life.
