Which Sheet/Program is best for...

I was wondering which Sheet, such as Hero Forge, or Program is easiest to enter your own class into. I Have a 12th level monk, 1st level Spellfire Channeler, and now 1st level Ki Swordsm and from Quintessential Monk 2. The last class in not in any sheet/program I have found and am more than willing to input it my self but I was looking for the most user friendly interface I can find.

Thanks

Once again, I will plug the excellent DM Genie. It has a "Class Wizard" feature (not the wizard class from D&D, but like the wizards in Microsoft programs that help you do stuff) that makes entering a new class super easy.

I've entered dozens of PrC's as well as some of the new base classes (e.g., scout, ninja, warmage).

The only tricky part is that if you want the new class features and feats to actually "work" (i.e., show calculated results as opposed to just being a list on the character sheet), you need to do a little programming. But I think that would apply to anything you will find.

From my understanding of all the tools out there, to get all class abilities to come out correctly, will take some finagling on the user's part; just as Joshua mentioned for DMGenie.

Now, I'm biased towards PCGen, but I don't think the data entry is that dificult, but I've been doing it for some time now. If you have data entry questions, you can ask at List File Help.

I"m going to join the band wagon and say dmgenie. It is incredibly easy to add prestige and classes into it. It is as simple as opening up the class editor, selecting new class and then clicking on the different tabs to add the classskills, feats, spells and saves and attacks. The really cool thing is if you base a class on another class then you can simply copy that other class and edit it. Example, I have a party member whom wants to be a Dragon initiate. So i got to enter it into the computer. I simply copied the monk class and changed the features. REally easy.

I'm another vote for DM Genie. It is pretty easy to learn and has some intuitive flexibility. As Josua Randall said though it does take some scripting knowledge to get the class/feat to really work and apply modifiers automatically. There are some very helpful forums on the DM Genie site though and one can pick up a lot there.

Well, use eTools pretty exclusively now-a-days. I use ETHelper to input classes and prestige classes but use the eTools Home Rules Module to input things like new feats, spells etc.

Like everything else out there, there is a slight learning curve for ETHelper but if you check out the logic used in existing classes then you'll catch on fairly quickly. I don't know nothin' bout programin at all but figurd out dat dere ETHelper but good. :D

If you have Microsoft Excel & Windows, the D&D3.5 Multiclass Character Sheet [Shareware] is another option for up to 3 Classes. I am told it is one of the most customizable Sheet around... in fact, I beleive it's the Best Excel Sheet around - but I am quite biased of course ;)
