I didn't really watch the Superbowl. I watched the Bad Bunny show this morning.
I think it may appeal to the younger generation. I think I'm too old for the music. I liked the message of "The only thing more powerful than hate is love." that was stated.
I don't enjoy that type of rap that much, and the type of Rap he does is a type I really don't enjoy (it doesn't matter who does it,whether it's Beastie Boys 80s/90s style or the modern Bad Bunny style). It's not that it's bad, it's just not the type of music I enjoy.
However, I think it may be the style that a lot of younger people enjoy?
I see that the Seahawks won! Looking at the scores this morning, it seems that it was mostly field goals by them for the first 3/4 of the game, and several touchdowns by both sides during the final quarter.
Edit: I thought I should amend this to say I like some types of Rap, just not that specific type of Rap (all talk, no melody) that he had. A Lot of Black Artists have a great type of Rap (it's advanced since the beat bop days of the 80s) these days with more melody and singing along with it. I just don't really like where they are talking straight up rather than the more modern type of Rap). However, I'm old, and maybe young people today enjoy that type of music that Bad Bunny was doing. It seems like many are praising it.
