White dragon illustration and stats

Katemare

First Post
Hi. Life's been good, and so I finished the white dragon illustration much later than I planned.

This is a fourth attempt of creating a visual monster layout (see previous works in dedicated gallery). I intentionally took a hard task of fitting a true dragon on one sheet, but managed to fit only 4 of 12 age categories on two sheets. Now I know the limits. Myself, I like the result %)

I looking for opinions and criticism, especially in comparison to the bulette. I want to know if the changes were for good. Also, I have doubts about the wording of flavor text.
Thanks in advance.

The next try will be kobolds, I'll try to show their culture as well as stats.

Wow! Those are just amazing.

Since you asked for opinions... I would have to say the Bulette layout worked much better for me than the White Dragon. The attacks and defenses along the side were easy to quickly reference and I loved having the special attacks done in an easy to read format along the bottom. I felt like I was searching too much on the White Dragon page. Although, the reference cards did make that much easier.

I hate writing anything bad because they are both so much better than anything I could do.

I couldn't create what you see without others' opinions and honest criticism. They make me see what I missed or didn't think of. So, you're helping me, actually %) your reply is one more vote for "three pages" variant (overview/usage, story/cultural and combat cards). Thanks.

You have a really awesome style and presentation. I only wish it were 4e... I've got white dragons in my current campaign! Really though, full marks for individuality and style. If I was more current on 3.5, I'd give my 2 cents on how the monster design is, but I can definately say that you've got a very smart layout, definitely keep it up!
