I've never heard of this place... sounds neat (and I'm from South Dakota... so don't know if it's a midwestern thing).

I'd suggest a "do-it-yourself" white elephant gift. A box of macaroni, glue, glitter, and a cheap picture frame or something similar... $10 worth of tootsie rolls would be a fun thing, as well.
