Who bought the Silver Munches?

I bought the Silver Marches, and it was pretty good.

I especially liked their portrayal of the subarctic climate of the region, and their emphasis on just how hazardous the climate and terrain are.

I mean, after all, in a subarctic climate, winter is a frightful affair, and winter dominates the lives of those who must live in such unfriendly regions.
Just ask anyone from central or northern Canada, how winter is a dominant factor in life ...

The book gave more flavor and reality to the setting, brought it to life a bit more.
Exactly what a setting book should do.

Just my opinion.

Part of the problem I see now is the bean counters could point at the silver munches sale as being artifically high now, due to the little short story.
Doubtful. We're the outspoken minority, here, remember?

I bought it last wednesday when I bought my ELH I think its a great product even if it is mostly fluff and it does have a little bit of crunch. After all fluff is what makes it FR.I do hope we get more than just Magic of Faerun lookalikes in the future.Or at the very least that they throw in a little fluff with their crunch books.

well, i'm going to buy it, cos i'm interested and i've liked most of the FR stuff for 3e so far. but i do hope personally that the next books are more like magic and less like lords of darkness. i hope they keep it FR flavoured, if only for the really nice design work.

I bought the Silver Marches. Great book. I am going to run a Silver March campaign soon. The Forgotten Realms books are always top notch in my opinion.

I hope the next regional book is on Cormyr. They need a good regional Cormyr book that really sets up the adventure flavor for the area.

I bought it as well. I've been fairly impressed with all the FR books so far, and I wasn't dissapointed even with a brief skimming. Even if you don't play in FR, this is a highly detailed book about many settlements, peoples, villains, and ruins in a harsh, northern environment. I like, I like it alot.

Next, I want Chult! Yuan-ti, yuan-ti for me! :D
