Who pays for your group's "Party Leader" t-shirt?

I remember going to a D&D team tournament in Austin once at which the members of one team all wore matching T-shirts that said "Not Dead Yet."

All of the DMs took that as a personal challenge.

Three tournament rounds. Three different DMs. Three TPKs.

So you're saying this isn't necessarily a common practice?
Until I read this thread I can honestly say I have NEVER heard of anyone doing something like this. I am considered pretty strange by a great many people and even I think that those shirts are strange. Definitely one of the more peculiar gaming group ideas I have heard.

No, but I wish I had. Blackleaf was WEAK, she deserved to commit suicide. If she had been strong then she could served a useful purpose for our group by selling herself on streetcorners. Then we could have afforded T-shirts.

"Hey, looking for a good time? I have skill focus (seduce) and underwear of charisma +4"

You know, me neither. The closest thing I have to a party role t-shirt is my JBO T-shirt. The one that reads: "A**chloch und Spaß dabei" (A**hole and enjoying it) :D

Perhaps a more succinct english translation would be "RBDM"? ;)

Wait five minutes and have the person next to you make the same suggestion. For some reason they party will likely love it. I think it has to do with familiarity with the concept; they think they've heard of the idea before so it must have worked sometime in the past or in a book. ;)

LOL, maybe...but then I dont get the well deserved credit for the idea. He does.

Dont worry the time of judgement for my gaming group will soon be at hand!

If I were the DM, yes. But I'm not.

Well, today the DM threatened to bring his air gun and shoot me with it if I wouldn't cut out the puns and jokes :D

But at some point, the underwear will come off, and THEN where are you? Naked and less attractive than before.

At that point, the darkness spell will have been cast ;-) And besides, that's beyond the time of no return. You are pretty turned on by then, and that won't turn you off again.

Sure, go knock yourself out! :)

T-shirts? I didn't even think that people played with the party leader concept any more. We haven't had a party leader in over 10 years.

Our PCs do. Of course, the group is setup like a business as well. We have a public face we negotiate contracts with. The current 'job' will pay us 1 million gold at the end of the contract.

But that is the closest we have to a party leader.
