Who'd do the art for your campaign?

For my part, I do the art for my husband's campaign (although I have only just started), but I wouldn't mind (and neither would my husband) if Todd Lockwood would do it ! What I like most of his work is the astronomical amount of detail and the almost picture-like quality. I was surprised to see that no one had mentioned him yet. I guess it's a question of taste!

Either Boris Vallejo, or my friend Chris, who already does most of the art for my campaign. His style seems to sit very well with the other players.

I have a hard time seeing how more detail=better art

Give me N.C. Wyeth for my world!! His illustrations always captured the heroic and the mythical without too many details. Too bad he's not around anymore.

Frazetta would be good too (a sort of darker "poor mans" Wyeth), but I hear he doesn't illustrate much anymore.

But since it's not likely I'll get either, I guess I'll just have to do it myself...

That's tough. I'd say probably Thomas Baxa or Valerie Valusek. However, depending on my group's mood (or in our sci-fi game), I also like Masamune Shirow or Adam Warren.
