Who's Chatting With Peter Adkison Tomorrow?

I am,

...unless the girlfriend kidnaps me for that time period - which she is known to do, without any scheduling. ;)

Hopefully I can make it since it'd be cool.:D

Well, the scheduled chat isn't tonight (tonight is the 23rd). The chat's set for Wednesday, the 24th.

Y'know, Eric really wasn't kidding about Morrus having that "clout" thing... :)

I really hope to attend.

Is there a thread already about what questions to ask? Or will it be more freeform than other chats?

Feel free to post questions in this thread. I'll be taking questions as we go, but it'd be good to have some lined up.

I have a couple questions

1. Are you going to buy D&D from WotC?

2. Do you encounter a lot of people who have trouble spelling your name?

Hi all! :)

Generally the chat nights are a bit late for those of us in the UK (I don't envy Russ the late hours he puts in, though kudos for that*), though I always enjoy reading the transcripts. However, this may be one worthy of staying up late!

*By the way Russ are you going to Gencon UK?

I have myriad questions for Peter; most notably stemming from his plans for the Primal Order (I doubt he has ever heard of the Immortals Handbook - notably so, since I'm still languishing over the final draft, though if theres ever going to be a proverbial 'banana in the tailpipe' - thats probably going to be it!) :D

However, I believe Peter will be at Gencon UK (which I am also attending) so I hope to grab a few minutes with him there.

So I suppose:

Q: "Do you have any immediate plans regarding the Primal Order?"

Q: "What days are you going to be at Gencon UK?"

This GenCon, the last in Milwaukee, has a lot of the hallmarks of WotC's GenCon, which is very understandable as the purchase was only made this past spring. What can we expect from future GenCons as they become more "Adkison" and less "WotC"?

Do you think it helps or hurts the ENnies to have WotC participating?

Put me down for the Primal Order questions but also about the whole Capsystem which the Primal Order was based on. i.e. there were supposed to be games to fill in various gaps in roleplaying, which still exsist, like the Military Order and the Economy Order.

Questions for Peter:

Other than the GenCon acquisition, do you have any other business ventures that you are undertaking currently? I understand if you need to speak in generalities, but if more than that, I'm always looking to invest in companies with a good CEO who knows how to make money. :)

Hypothetically, if WotC were ever in a position to sell the D&D property, would you ever consider making a serious offer and "taking the reins" again? Are you at a position where running a gaming company is a serious sideline for you?

In what other ways, if any, can we look to see the "Hand of Adkison" in the gaming community again?

Do you see the recent WotC "pruning" of peripheral departments as a smart business sign, or a sign that things are not looking well on the horizon for them?

(Frivolous) What is your Roleplaying group "dream team", and are you playing with them right now?
