I'm living in Reading. A thirty something graduate of 1e who manages to play every Wednesday in a 3.5 campaign & every Thursday at the Ukranian social club (we get the space free - top people) where it's a GM free for all, with mini campaigns of whatever system we fancy.

Home has one high maintenance cat & one low maintenance girlfriend who happily plays World of Warcraft for hours. That means I get to play as much as I want? Damn ;)

Oh yeah, I have a job too. Sometimes I even enjoy it.

Live on the Wirral but role play over in Liverpool.

37 years old, been role playing for best part of 20 years, mostly D&D but also Runequest, CoC, Pendragon... Much prefer fantasy rpg and try to avoid modern, sci-fi, superhero etc settings.

Currently running two 3.5 Mystara games.

Fave Bands: UK Subs, The Exploited, GBH, and Anti Nowhere League
Fave Authors: Pratchett, Eddings, Feist

And why does no-one give their NPCs a Welsh accent?
Almost all my NPCs end up with a Welsh accent, even if it doesn't start out that way.

HJi, I'm Jeff. I'm 32 from South Wales but currently living with my wife and 4 parrots in Guernsey. That probably makes me the southernmost of the southern jessies so far.

I DM a weekly game of D&D, although I could probably give Morrus a run for his money in the unpreparedness stakes.

I grew up in a dive somewhere in the Somerset countryside, moved to Lancashire (where I started roleplaying), and now I'm down in Bristol studying History. Currently I'm not involved in any tabletop roleplaying... I had some baaaaad experiences with the Bristol University gaming society, and since then I just haven't been able to rouse any enthusiasm for trying to gather together a new group. Next year, though, a couple of people are moving here who I already know and game with so... hopefully I'll be roleplaying again soon. :)

Oh... and as for the accent thing... my past gaming groups have seen quite a diversity of different accents being used, but I have to admit that most of my NPCs seem to end up with an odd bastardised hybrid of Irish and Scottish. :D

I can't do Welsh, it always finishes up sounding like Apu from the Simpsons.
Thank you. Call again boyo!
:)

Actually I find it tricky with accents there is a tendency to end up sounding like an actors 'mummersetshire' - though of course Dwarves come from Yorkshire - 'There's trouble at t'pit'

Mid thirties living in Rochdale (Manchesterish for all those southerners..)

I too live within the boundaries of Rochdale Borough, but in what is historically Bury (Heap Bridge). I am 29, married with 2 yound boys (4 and 2). I am currently finishing off a 2 year PGCE training to teach ICT in secondary schools and will be teaching at a nice local church school from september (all assignments being passed).

If Ian Sturrock is a professional RPG designer, I suppose you could say I was an Amatuer one :). I started Malladin's Gate Press two and a half years ago after having a book rejected by a publisher and thinking that actually it was pretty good (precious vanity). We've done a number of pretty well reviewed PDFs, but are currently working on Etherscope (and have been for over a year now!). This is a great game for us Brits, its an alternative history where we rule the world!! Plus, for us northerners, the main setting is a mega city built around Manchester and Liverpool.

Anyway, must go. Tatty Bye (see, I am northern!)
