Who's getting the freebies from RPGNow?

It might be part of the deal where each one is only available for a day. Not sure when the pdfs from the previous day stop being active for free. I know the new day's don't start until 10 am EST.

I am getting the same message. I am trying to get both Runequest and Rolemaster Express, along with a few other things, and no matter what I do the same message comes up. If the sale day starts at 10am, then the previous sales should END at 10am also. It would stink if there was a 10 hour gap where you couldn't order any of the promo products. They should have gone with the simple "midnight-midnight" whatever (eastern or central, where ever dtrpg is ) time. It just seems kind of unprofessional to me.

I downloaded Twilight 2000 and Thrilling Tales.

Thrilling Tales, being a D20 Modern product, was less than thrilling. But I'm stealing the bandwidth anyway, so no big loss.

Twilight 2000 is pretty cool, though.

Well, both Runequest and Rolemaster Express that I had been trying to download were both in my shopping cart for $0.00. Now mysteriously at 10:15 am they are back to the regular retail price. Shame on you drivethru. What a scam!

I seriously doubt they are trying to scam you. Hang out and see if they don't have it fixed shortly. You can always remove them from your cart. I haven't put anything in any cart thus far, just clicking on the free downloads button.

I'm getting the database error today (didn't have any problems Monday or Tuesday). I've contacted their tech support, and I'll let you know if I get any updates.

I was having trouble a few minutes ago getting new stuff... but everything is working now. Maybe they were just getting products changed over?
