Anubis.

He even managed to create a breed of half-celestial dogs:

I mean, come ON! Jackal-headed? I don't think so! It's Pharaoh Hound-headed!

Actually...Kord.

Seriously. Of the known 4e gods, he seems the one most likely to look out for Man's Best Friend.

Brad
Like the idea, didn't realize he made it to 4e, I thought Hextor took his place as god of war?

But yeah, I always identified Kord at least partially with warhounds. Enough that my clerics of Kord always had war dogs with them.

And back in 2e, there was a session where the party our PCs were part of had gone to Ysgard to get a particular artifact from one of Thor's Valkyries in Alfheim and when they got there everyone (and I mean everyone) was just standing around watching as Kord and Thor had a knock-down drag-out argument over Thor accidentally obliterating his favorite warhound on their hunting trip in the lower planes.

Have a heart - at least give the poor man a link to it if he didn't know about it...

A search for "canine" portfolio brings up:

Roofdrak
Demigod
Alignment: Neutral
Portfolio: Canines
Sources: Deities & Demigods (First Edition), Dragon magazine #54 - "Down-to-earth divinity"

A search for "dog" in the portfolio field also brings up a god named Erion, from The Unknown Gods, an old Judges Guild product.

My philosophy of making gods for 3e is to take all the character classes from all of the previous editions and put them together and then use the divine ranks from 3e rather than the nonepic stats for the gods in Dieties & Demigods. But it is a lot of work. I don't have one for the wolflord but here are my stats for the Cat Lord:

The Cat Lord's tiger form is a jet black creature much like a jaguar. In human form he is a Mediterranean looking man with short wavy hair and green cat's eyes who wears all black and is adorned with jewelery that matches the various colors of felines.
Command Felines: All felines (even werefelines) will not attack the Cat Lord and will obey his orders. He may speak to all felines in their native tongue.
Skills: The cat lord has a +20 bonus to Balance, Climb, Hide, Jump, Listen, Move Silently, and Spot.
Spell-like Abilities: The Cat Lord can use the following spell-like (or psi-like) abilities: Anti-magic Shell (3/day), Astral Projection (1/day), Blur (at will), Catfall (at will, does not take damage from falls), Charm Person (at will), Detect Evil/Good (at will), Detect Thoughts (at will), Dimension Door (9/day), Ethereal Jaunt (2/day), Expeditious Retreat (at will), Greater Teleport (1/day), Haste (2/day), Missive (at will), Plane Shift (1/day), and Summon Nature's Ally I-IX (each once per day, felines only). He uses these as a 20th level caster and all DCs are Charisma-based.

And yes, I broke some rules making him, he is a divine creature after all.
