Excerpts from EN's front page:

And there's a nifty innovation that I call "monkeys without blinders."

... the coins monkey, the goods monkey, and the items monkey ... got your treasure.

Why do we need monkeys in 4E? Did someone ask for more primates?

Things D&D needs: pirates, ninjas, primates (apes, monkeys, etc.), zombies, and maybe robots.

One down, three or four to go!

You should check out the Story Hour of my game (see sig). It's got all of that in spades. Or at least it will eventually.

It's even got a ninja-pirate monkey and a robot zombie (in a manner of speaking)!

Of course 4e needs monkeys. :confused: Every game needs monkeys.

Agreed. And they should have treasure. If a spider or a shambling mound can have treasure, then so should a monkey. Heck, monkeys can steal treasure because its shiney all the while looking cute and harmless.

Robots => Warforged, check.
Zombies => Evil Clerics can make them, check.
Ninjas => whole class dedicated to them, check.
Pirates => Dread Pirate PrC, check

Its about time we finally got monkeys.

Are you saying monkeys shouldn't be given treasure? I'm as entitled to a share of the loot as my more evolved cousins! Hell, the elf never evolved at all! I'm a couple million years up on him! 'Fashioned fully perfect' my bright red buttocks.
