Oh, I understand the world (everything except the part about women, but what man knows about that?). I just don't understand the fantasy worldTeflon Billy said:...and another direct hit is taken by the concept of "D&D players have no trouble understanding the world"![]()

Ugly half-orc isn't an object to be sexualized. Besides, the "Grizzled Bartender" is another stereotype. Try to put a feminine, well groomed man behind the bar and see how well that goes over.Men are cool with a fat Half-Orc serving them drinks from behind the bar, but they'll run for the hills if a flat chested woman serves drinks from behind the bar?
But that brings me back to my point. Well groomed or not...it's still a dude behind the counter. So people would rather be served by a guy from behind the counter than a flat chested woman? That's nuts!Rechan said:Ugly half-orc isn't an object to be sexualized. Besides, the "Grizzled Bartender" is another stereotype. That's the thing though...we know why women are barmaids. I'm just wondering why it's always big breasted women in the fantasy world. I've seen plenty of A-cup waitresses/bartenders in the real world...so what gives in fantasy land? Do flat chested women have a lower Armor Class? Do tavern owners think they won't stand as good of a chance fending off an Orc invasion from within the tavern?Hey, that gives me an idea. I notice you're not asking "Well, why aren't attractive men serving drinks"? After all, why is "drink server" reserved for just women?
