Why aren't flat chested women ever barmaids?

Years and years ago, back in middle school, god sometime in the late 80s around the time the Berlin Wall fell.

The group of friends I played D&D with were all guys, and being middle school I gratuitously described pretty much every barwench as being stacked like a FedEx warehouse. Then one of their cousins, a girl, was convinced to join in the game for a few sessions. By the time she'd been with the group in 3 taverns she pointed out that every female so far encountered had been overendowed.

So I used the BS liberally and got inventive. The reason they'd only seen busty women was because all women in Gharossa(name of kingdom) were busty. Eight hundred years ago after the last barbarian invasion the new King Wresegar the Despoiler had made a deal with the Wizard's College involving taxes and law, but in return for getting a good deal would do him a favor. By "cursing" the land so that every woman born in the kingdom would have an ample bust from that day on. It still stood to this day because if ever the curse were in danger of being broken every male adventurer in the region could be counted on to foil the attempt.

And you know that seems like a plenty good explanation to me even now. There aren't any flat-chested fantasy women because men have used magic to manipulate populations to have features they find attractive for so long it's just part of the world that women will be plentifully endowed.

Sort of like fantasy world plastic surgeons?

Now I kind of want to play a campaign in the vein of Nip/Tuck (pun intended).

I'm imaging that the artifact that causes this condition in some manner involves a (mispelled) brassiere.

Well crap....that's a good observation. Now I don't know which kind of woman I should feel sorry for.

Bah! Don't feel sorry for either!

Not-so-Busty: Ninjas!! And other, lesser, adventurers.
Busty: Pirates!! And other, lesser, adventurers.

Well, consider this - how many busty ninjas have you seen lately?

Well... Sango, maybe. Definately Tsunade. And Taki... She probably has enough to make up for ALL of the average kunoichi.

I take it that that wizard had a copy of the Book of Erotic Fantasy Magic and thus was able to learn that epic ritual.
