2 new faces from last year. Only 3 of the judges from last year are running this year.

Why do you want new blood though?

Can't speak for him, but I myself like the idea of at least two or three judges being new judges, with two or three previous judges to help them through the newness of it. The idea of the same people being judges consistently I'm leery of, but a small pool of rotating judges I don't mind (not that I think there needs to be a rule, that's just the way I vote every year).

That said, I think I lot of people probably have a case of, "Didn't we already do this?" Or they might see the word ENNies and think it's a wrap up of last year and not even bother to read the rest of the thread title.

I did vote, but a lot of the nominees are the same people who have done it time and time again. It's great that the well-known posters are so well-liked, but I would like to see a slot reserved for someone who has never been a judge before.

Also, I would really like to see a female judge this year, although that does not look like it is going to happen.

There needs to be some fresh blood on the team.

The nominations can be found on the ENNies page, there is a link to it on the main page of EN World. The list of entries is not something that gets announced. But by your statement you said you had problems with the nominations, so I'm just asking what they were.

Well, there might not be that many "active" users on En World. Is the voting thread in each message board or just in general? There may be people who just go striaght to the story hour, or rules, as opposed to general. some people may not be on the site for weeks at a time.

Like I said, there should be some programming so that every registered member gets an e-mail asking them to vote when the poll firsts goes up, then another e-mail a week into it, and another on the last day.
