Why can't I get to my Private Messages?

First of all, I know how private messages in forums are supposed to work, that's not the issue. I even found the link to my Private Messages on the front page, but when I click on it I get a "You are not authorized" message. How can I not be authorized to see my own PMs? I think this must be a glitch but I didn't know who to bug about so I figured I'd just bug everyone...

You must have a Community Supporter Account...to gain that feature.

In the menus along the top there is one for 'Support the Site'. Under that you will see a section for Community Supporter accounts.
