Why did CAdv leave out Ascetic Cleric?

Thanks for your ideas, though. I will see if it might work out. Anyone else have any brainstorms as to ways to play with this?

I agree with the 'not needed and not there on purpose' crowd.

On the other hand, if you were one of my players I'd be inclined to mull the idea over and see what I could come up with for you. I try to be responsive to my players.

I can see how the WotC designers might leave this out of the list, and had this been posted as a "whine" over on DnD rules then it would have been summarily dismissed, rightfully. I agree its not there on purpose and with good reason, but I can see times where it might be warranted.

After considerable thought, the only thing I can think of that I would go for would be a divine feat that would let you use a turn (or rebuke) attempt to gain ki strike/good (or evil) for a number of rounds equal to your cha bonus (minimum 1). I think the synergies are too good with cleric/monks to give an actual bonus.
