I play so that I one day will learn real spells. Then I will use them to summon real demons. Then I will become the most powerfull and evil person evar!!!
 

I'm with Sigil. I enjoy playing, but what I really like is being DM, because I've got all these worlds in my head, and no other way to get them out. I don't have the sustained, detailed vision to write novels, but creating worlds for my friends to play in seems to be just the ticket.
 

I voted for the first three. My job can be very stressfull and doing something gaming related takes my mind off of it. I also love to create and being a DM is the perfect outlet for my creative thoughts. Last and not least due to my job I do not get to hang with my friends very often, unless we are gaming. So I look forward to each and every session.

I should have also voted for other, as it is just plain fun too!
