Why I Hate Coca Cola

I used to love Coke for the cafeine, now I prefer taking coffee. Maybe as bad, but at least, naturally bad. And it smells better

Bah. The only two fizzy drinks worth Drinking are SPAR's (a shop) own brand of Cola, and Irn-Bru.

Irn-Bru is great. Much better then Mountain Dew (which I have only seen over here once), Pepsi, Coca-Cola, or anything else. All hail Irn-Bru.

However, when I was in the Navy, I was stationed on the Missouri and we used to use lemonade (without the sugar) to bleach the wooden decks. And we used the cherry "Koolaid" stuff to take off the tarnish on brass. It works really well.

There was a study done many years ago, after claims were made that Coke would rot your teeth. The findings were that Coke is no worse for your teeth than orange juice. (Or maybe that orange juice is no better than Coke.)

Regardless, I'm definitely a Coke person. Pepsi tastes like Coke that's been left sitting out for a week. Or, as my mother puts it: "Sweet, flat Coke."

The final thing we did was investigate the additives listed on the label. It's a good thing they're required to put them there by law, because Sunset Yellow colour (Coke doesn't look yellow, but that's what they put in it) is mildly carcinogenic, promotes medical hyperactivity, and can induce athsma attacks. Looking over other colouring agents from other soft drinks, they all shared those three unwholesome characteristics.

You might want to check those labels again, s/LaSH. Coke doesn't contain Sunset Yellow or any other artificial colors. The coloring agent in Coca-Cola is caramel coloring (i.e. carmelized sugar). There are no artificial flavors, either. Both Coke and Pepsi are all-natural, baby! They must be good for you!!

Dr. Pepper lists 'artificial and natural flavors' on its label, but doesn't break it down. Probably vanillin.

You guys are all disgusting traitors. If you have to drink a soda, it better be freaking Mt. Dew. Otherwise, you'd best be a coffee junkie, or you can't call yourself a geek with a straight face.

Coke is vile. So is Pepsi. But I love Pepsi because they make Mt. Dew. Coke is to be smited, because they tried to push Surge on us all... and not even the children could be saved.
