Why I Think Rolling For Hit Points is a Bad Thing

The fighter has the advantage of having the ability to have more than a wizard.
Rolling gives the potential of an advantage. Fixed numbers give him the advantage. Also I posted a rolling alternative above that makes the HP roll for each class equally random. Rolling a 1 on a d4 and be expected to stand in the back is far less serious than rolling a 1 on a d10 and be expected in the front.

Why is the fighter always expected in the front? By all rights, you should put whoever has the best hit points, armor class, or both in the front lines. If, by some incredible twist of fate, nobody in a three-four man party fits that description, then bravo, you just became the underdogs! And as every screenwriter from George Lucas to Quentin Tarantino knows, that makes you much more fun to root for.
