Wielding two daggers

I am creating a halfling ranger fighter who will be wielding two daggers.

Had a question. Can I throw a dagger in each hand for two missle attacks in one round but with the dual weapon penalties? Or do I have to take the rapid shot feat?

If I can throw two daggers then would having rapid shot allow me to throw 2 daggers with my main hand and one dagger with my off hand?

Yes.

Not unless you wanna get 1 extra throw.

Yep. But you add the two-weapon fighting penalties and the rapid shot penalty together. I believe this was clarified by the sage. I can't remember if it's in the FAQ or not. I'll see if I can find it.

Thanks, the idea of lobbing off three daggers per round as missile weapons adds a good amount of damage compared to what a halfling normally puts out.

Get Heward's Handy Haversack, or just quickdraw, and you'll have a constant supply of daggers to throw. :D And don't worry about a DM restricting you to only 1 or 2 quickdraw actions per round, as the sage has stated that if you have multiple attacks and quickdraw, you can draw your weapons and throw them as many times as you need.

I am not that much of a rules-lawyer. At most I will throw a volley of three daggers, then draw two more and move into melee.

Anything else looks just stupid unless you get some of those magical returning daggers.

Hey, if you don't appreciate the safety of ranged attacks and you don't mind not player your character to the fullest, and you don't mind getting him killed simply because you don't want to use him to full potential, no problem. But respectfully, using all of your attacks and drawing all those weapons isn't really rules-lawyering, and I take insult to that.

Trying to explain away dozens of daggers secreted on your body is what I am not interested in.

I am actually doing the same thing with a thief/ranger. I think he is pretty cool with daggers strapped all over his body. Plus halflings like to collect things. Not that big of a stretch really.

Apparently it's quite the stretch for some people. You know, it really sucks when you try to help someone and they turn into a bigot and only insult you in the end.

Actually, 2 weapon fighting is for melee attacks only. Ambidexterity would help negate the -4 for the off hand.

As for throwing a lot of knifes, have you help throwing knifes? They are light and easy to handle. I could easily hold have dozen in my off hand and throw them with my main hand. It'd take little time to switch hands and throw.
