That's why I said you add the two-weapon fighting penalty, not bonus.

Crothian said:It was unclear to me. the normal penalty for fighting with 2 weapons (assume ambidextretity feat) is -4/-4. The 2 weapon fighting feat makes that -2/-2, but still a penalty. I wasn't sure which penalty you were talking about and since I've seen many people who thought the 2 weapon fighting feat could be used with thrown attacks, I figured it was better to make the point in cannot.

I hear ya'. Actually, this whole thing was just recently cleared up for me as well. I have a fighter in another game that uses throwing axes, which are nice for ranged attacks but are kinda lame weapons for melee. So, after finding out that I will forever be at -4/-4, I decided to just pick up a couple of sabres, which have the same penalty but deal more damage.

Yeah, if you don't use both hands, rapid shot works out great. Unfortunately, I didn't plan my character very well when I first drafted him, but he's still perfect for the Tempest PrC.

Apparently it's quite the stretch for some people. You know, it really sucks when you try to help someone and they turn into a bigot and only insult you in the end.
